Return, Relive, Rise: My Conquest of Alpe d’Huez

Coming back to defend my title at Alpe d’Huez was a true challenge. A physical one, of course — this race is one of the toughest in Europe — but also a personal one: returning without letting pressure take over, with the goal of enjoying every moment to the fullest. And that’s exactly what I did.

This triathlon is more than just a race. It’s a suspended moment in time, a human adventure, a battle with yourself. Sharing the start line with 1,800 athletes, all there to push their limits and try to conquer the Alpe — it’s powerful. You feel a unique energy, a mix of tension, respect, and passion. Everyone has their own story, their own reason for being there, and their own dreams just within reach.

Once again, the Alpe gave me nothing for free. I had to dig deep — really deep — in the climbs, the wind, and the moments of doubt. But with every turn, every crest, every effort, the breathtaking scenery of the Alps gave me strength. It felt as if the mountain itself was pushing me forward, just for daring to face it.

I’m proud to have shared this race — and the podium — with my teammate Nina. And even prouder to have experienced this moment with my parents, who were there in person. Being able to give them this victory and see them cheering at the side of the course is a feeling I’ll never forget. Moments like these give true meaning to what I do.

The Alpe d’Huez Triathlon holds a very special place in my heart. It’s a race that feels real, that feels like family. Thank you to the organizers for their incredible work, and above all, to the supporters whose energy lit up the entire course. You truly carried me.

I leave this adventure with a full heart — full of gratitude, full of memories. And with even more desire to keep moving forward, to keep learning, to keep growing. This victory isn’t just mine. It belongs to everyone who supports me day after day, in the spotlight or behind the scenes. From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
