Saturday, April 26, 2025, I won Challenge Taiwan 2025 in 4h15’27! An incredible race that I led from start to finish.
I was really excited leading up to the race. After having participated in the 2024 edition, I was eager to experience that phenomenal atmosphere once again: more than 10,000 triathletes were at the start line, creating an incredible energy and a huge sense of respect seeing so many athletes fighting to cross the finish line.

As for me, I enjoyed every moment of the race. The swim took place in stunningly clear water where you could even see the fish swimming underneath us — I loved it! I exited the water first after a solid swim (25’55). On the bike, I quickly found my rhythm and led the 90km along the coast (2h15’31). During the race, you don’t always realize it because you’re so focused on the effort, but the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I took the time at a few points to soak it all in and to recharge my energy. In tougher moments, I reminded myself how lucky I was to be there, which gave me an extra boost.
I arrived at T2 still in the lead, with my two closest competitors just behind, whom I could spot.

Determined, I set off for the 21km run. Very quickly, I managed to build a gap that kept growing (1h27’39).
The run course was a large, varied loop, and I focused on staying well hydrated at every aid station to maintain my pace all the way to the finish. I truly savored the final kilometers, fully aware of the exceptional moment I was living! It was a beautiful race where I managed to pace my effort perfectly and, above all, to enjoy every second.

I’m also really happy to see my progress continue and that the past months of training are paying off.
This day was even more special because I got to share the experience with my boyfriend Max Studer, who was also racing, and to count on the support of his sister Paula — what a joy to see familiar faces along the course!
I’m also thrilled to have shared the podium with my teammate Nina Derron, who secured a fantastic 3rd place.

A huge congratulations to all the finishers! Between the windy bike leg and the heat during the run, the conditions made the day even tougher. You are all such an inspiration! A massive thank you to Challenge Family for the outstanding organization and support during this event.
What an unforgettable weekend!
Now it’s time to head back to China, where I’ll be training for two weeks at the Chongming (Shanghai) training base to prepare for my next race: The Championship in Samorin on May 18, 2025. Afterwards, I will fly back to Switzerland where I will prepare for the big race: Challenge Roth on July 6, 2025.
See you soon at the start line!
